Minimum of 5 years previous experience in the signage industry outside UAE 1. Plan and draw up a production and installation schedule. 2. Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate. 3. Monitor and ensure that the ERP system is updated in real time (time sheet entries, transfer materials orders, consumption of materials against work orders) 4. Implement the quality standards and procedures (inter-departmental QC and random QC) 5. Ensure that the production and installation will be cost effective by estimating costs and negotiating budgets of material and services with suppliers. 6. Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed. 7. Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programmes. 8. Select equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance. 9. Liaise with different departments, teams and companies, suppliers, managers, and clients. 10. Ensure that HSE procedure / guidelines are followed. 11. Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met. 12. Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals. 13. Collate and analyse ERP data, putting together production reports for both factory managers and customers. 14. Create and upgrade the skills of the teams. 15. Supervise and motivate the workforce. 16. Evaluate worker performance and identify training needs. 17. Participate in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage.
